This blog will focus on family life and activities. Birthdays, cute children, activities, good ideas, or church activities, whatever. Also, maybe I'll post something if I burn dinner -- like the pancakes last night. I haven't burned pancakes for ten years!

No greater work

My blog title is based on the quote from Harold B. Lee. “The greatest work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home.” This is something I really believe. Sometimes in the day-to-day activities and cleaning and cooking, it is easy to lose sight of the ultimate goal. As a mother I am trying to raise spiritual, well-behaved, hard-working children to adulthood.

Since I am a full-time Mom, I sometimes need a reminder that what I am doing is important. Especially when I am cleaning up yet another mess. But when your child gives you a hug and says they love you, it is worth it.

I am hoping to be able to have a more personal blog here that covers some of the activities we do as a family. I also wanted to have a place for those cute photos that don't fit into my other blogs. This blog is intended to cover our family's activities, and other things that happen. Sort of a virtual scrapbook, since I am not really into scrapbooking.
